Who is god

Reflection

The scriptures reveal a God who is the uncreated Creator, the very source of all that is. This God is spoken of as singular, holy, and sovereign, existing in an eternal communion. Yet, this God also desires relationship, reaching out to humanity with love and a plan for redemption, particularly as unfolded in the story of Israel and culminating in Jesus Christ.

This divine being is understood as both transcendent, beyond all comprehension, and immanent, present within creation and in the lives of those who seek to know Him. God is described as being filled with love, mercy, justice, and faithfulness—attributes that guide His interactions with the world and His people. The very nature of God is love, and through this love, all things are made, sustained, and offered hope.
