What is the Book of Mormon, and is it true?

Reflection

The Book of Mormon is a sacred volume of scripture, a testament to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ among ancient peoples on the American continent. It tells of a family’s journey of faith, of prophets who warned and guided, and of the Savior Himself ministering to a new world. It speaks of a covenant people and their struggles with righteousness and wickedness, and the eventual triumph of light over darkness.

Its truth is found not in mere historical record alone, but in its power to speak to the heart. The scriptures themselves invite us to engage with their message, to ponder it, and to ask of their divine origin. Through this process, a witness of their truth can be gained, a confirmation that settles deep within the soul, guiding us toward a closer walk with Him.
