Why do Mormons wear special underwear?

Reflection

The journey of faith often involves outward symbols that remind us of sacred covenants made within. These symbols are not magical talismans, but rather personal reminders of commitments we have made to God, to live a life of righteousness and service. They are meant to be a shield against temptation and a comfort in times of trial, drawing strength from the promises we have made.

This practice is rooted in ancient traditions of wearing special garments as a sign of devotion and covenant, a tradition that has been renewed in our day. It is a personal and sacred matter, a quiet testament to a commitment to follow the Savior and to keep His commandments. It is a way to carry sacred truths close to the heart, a constant reminder of who we are and to whom we belong.
