Reflection
The soul, an eternal and unchanging essence, journeys through many lives. Just as a person sheds old clothes and puts on new ones, the soul casts off a worn-out body and inhabits a new one. This cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, known as reincarnation or transmigration, is a fundamental aspect of existence, offering continuous opportunity for growth and spiritual evolution.
Through our actions and desires, we weave the fabric of our future lives. Attachment to worldly things and the fruits of our labor binds us to this cycle. However, by understanding the true nature of the self as distinct from the physical body and by acting with detachment and devotion, one can gradually transcend the limitations of this earthly existence and find liberation.
