Reflection
The scriptures speak of a divine nature, a potential that lies dormant within each of us, gifted by our Heavenly Father. It is through His plan, through the atoning sacrifice of His Son, and through our own diligent efforts to follow Him that we can be changed and made like Him. This is not a journey of self-creation, but one of divine enablement, a process of becoming more like the perfect exemplar, Jesus Christ, and thus drawing nearer to the eternal Father.
The divine invitation is to inherit all that the Father hath, to partake of His glory and joy, and to become perfected through Him. This exalted state is not about surpassing the Father, but about becoming one with Him, as the Savior prayed we might be. It is a journey of eternal progression, where through faithfulness and obedience, we can ultimately share in the divine inheritance.
