Do Mormons believe in Jesus Christ?

Reflection

The question of belief in Jesus Christ is central to the very heart of what we understand and hold sacred. The scriptures speak of Him as the Son of God, the Redeemer of the world, and the very foundation of all hope and salvation. To believe in Him is to accept His divine nature, His atoning sacrifice, and His resurrection as the means by which we can overcome sin and death, returning to live with our Heavenly Father. It is through faith in Him that we find peace in this life and the promise of eternal joy.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16 · Pearl of Great Price (Joseph Smith—Matthew)

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." — Isaiah 9:6 · Pearl of Great Price (Isaiah 9:6)
